Godwin Developments lends support to Team Nottingham at MIPIM

Godwin Developments supports Team Nottingham

UK property developer Godwin Developments is one of 14 partner organisations who will be part of ‘Team Nottingham’ at next month’s MIPIM, the international property event in Cannes, France.

The Team Nottingham line up, which includes property professionals from firms across Nottinghamshire, will represent the county at the leading real estate market event, taking place from 15-18 March 2022.

With offices in Birmingham, London and Nottingham, Godwin Developments has projects across the country, including the East Midlands, which are bringing in a raft of investment and regeneration. The company has a diversified national portfolio and a pipeline which exceeds £1 billion in value across 3 million sq. ft. of space.

Most recently in Nottingham, Godwin Developments secured planning permission for a 783-bed student living scheme to provide much needed purpose-built accommodation for the city’s growing student population. It has been calculated that the project could generate more than £111m in economic activity for the city and wider East Midlands region and create over 350 jobs. Godwin Developments also has plans to deliver over 100 single family rental homes in the Bulwell area, north of Nottingham city centre.

Stephen and Stuart Pratt, founders and directors of Godwin Developments said: “Nottingham is such an important city, not just for the company but us personally, and we are excited to be back at MIPIM and part of Team Nottingham. The past two years has been transformational for our business, as we grew not just the team and pipeline of schemes but also securing planning permission for more than 1200 homes to provide high quality places to live, work and socialise.

“As a well-funded private business, covering the full property development cycle we’re looking forward to speaking to current and new business partners about investment and development opportunities across the commercial, residential and industrial sectors in Nottingham and beyond.”
