Godwin supports the launch of UKAA’s Midlands BTR Hub

UK property developer Godwin Developments is pleased to support the upcoming launch event for the UK Apartment Association’s (The UKAA) new BTR hub in the Midlands.

Driven by a steering committee of leading Build-to-Rent figures, the hub will promote the regeneration opportunities, high-quality home provision, and investment outcomes for the region among residents, stakeholders, suppliers, financial institutions, and all those looking to start their careers in the sector.

In November 2022, Godwin Developments announced a JV partnership with a leading institutional real estate investor to focus on creating a portfolio of professionally managed homes across UK urban and suburban BTR markets.

Having announced its ambitious plans to build assets valued in excess of £1 billion, Godwin Developments has appointed its Marketing Director – Krassi Stoyanova – to join the other members of the steering group co-chaired by Rebecca Taylor, Managing Director of BtR at Long Harbour and Tom Grey, Build to Rent Director at David Phillips.

An official launch event for the new hub will take place in Birmingham on the 28th of June at DLA Piper’s offices in Chamberlain Square in the city centre.

It will provide an introduction to the UKAA and the aims of the hub followed by an expert panel including Knight Frank, Patrizia and Heimstaden will discuss the challenges and opportunities for the BTR market in the Midlands.
