Godwin bolsters development team with top residential hire

UK property developer Godwin Developments has appointed prominent residential figure Simon Boreham to the position of Senior Development Director to further expand the company’s value-added residential pipeline.

Based out of Godwin’s London Mayfair office, his mandate will be centered on securing residentially led development opportunities nationwide, with a particular focus on the South East. Leveraging his deal origination, partnerships and planning expertise, Simon’s key responsibilities will be growing the business’ pipeline across a range of residential asset classes. In his new role, he will be working closely with Godwin’s wider strategic land, planning and delivery teams.

With more than two decades of experience in property development, Simon has a proven and in-depth knowledge of the sector, having held previous positions at the Berkeley Group, Wilmott Dixon and CALA Group. Prior to joining Godwin, he worked as Land and Planning Director at Countryside Partnerships.  

Simon’s appointment further strengthens Godwin’s residential capabilities and will add to the business’ in-house BTR expertise, led by Lesley Roberts. His arrival will also allow Tom Smallbone to concentrate entirely on shaping its forthcoming BTR platform as Acquisitions Director.
