Property developer agrees sale of a residential scheme in Doncaster to Places for People

Property development business Godwin Developments is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement for the sale of its consented scheme of up to 60 family homes in Doncaster to the leading UK placemaker and social enterprise Places for People.

Situated on Watch House Lane in Bentley, a popular area to the north of the town centre, the development will transform this long-disused brownfield site into a new community of contemporary two and three-bedroom homes, benefitting also from private outdoor space, EV charging provision, and shared green spaces. Situated close to Bentley train station, the development will be well-positioned for commuters into Doncaster, and will benefit from easy access to a variety of amenities such as shops and schools.

The development was designed by Godwin to cater to the rising needs of families looking for good quality homes in the area.

Places for People intends to commence construction in the spring of 2024, and when completed, the properties will be made available to new residents as either affordable or shared ownership tenures.
